Happy Birthday Natalie!!

Today was Natalie's 3rd birthday! She had a great day. She woke up this morning to her present from Mom & Dad, a new wooden kitchen set! She was very happy to get it as she has been asking for it ever since she saw a picture of it in a Target ad. Dad was happy that she loved it since he put in a lot of time and pain (busted blister on his thumb!) to get it all together. Then Mom and Natalie made chocolate chip pancakes together for breakfast.

For supper, we headed to Chuck E. Cheese's, Natalie's favorite restaurant. We had a coupon for 20 free tokens for her birthday plus a coupon that was a great deal for pizza and 40 more tokens! Needless to say, we played games for quite a while, including Mom & Dad playing basketball and pinball as well. Natalie had enough tickets at the end of the night for a crayon/scratch pad set and a beaded ring. Then we made it home for birthday cupcakes. It was a great day!!!

Halloween!

Natalie had so much fun being a witch on Halloween! She got to trick or treat for the first time around the neighborhood. Ryan said she was very polite and nice plus she came home with her bucket FULL of candy. The we had a special dinner of MUMMY DOGS which she ate at least some of before asking for candy. Then we went to see Uncle Jeff and Aunt Katie so they could see her all dressed up too. Aunt Katie had a special ghost sucker for her which made Natalie very happy! It was a great Halloween!

Pumpkin Patch

We had to find a new pumpkin patch this year since we are new to the area so we found out about the Louisberg Cider Mill from Natalie's Aunt Katie so we decided to head out there. It was really neat seeing the cider mill and of course the apple cider donuts were wonderful! Natalie kept insisting she wanted a smaller pumpkin so we finally had to get her two mini pumpkins and Mom and Dad picked out a larger one to carve. Natalie loved the live music and was dancing along with her pumpkins. It was a lot of fun!!!

New Bedding!

Mom finally found some cute bedding for Natalie's new room. She loved it right when she saw it, especially the ladybug pillow. She had said all along she wanted pink so I was glad to finally find something that fit her request and also was something I liked too. Now just to get some things on her walls!

Fair Time

I wanted to share a couple pictures of Natalie enjoying the Merry Go Round at both the York County and Johnson County fairs. She loved the rides and didn't want to leave the midway! We will definately have to make it to the fairs again next year.

Take me out to the ballgame...

Natalie went to her second baseball game ever on Saturday night when we attended the Royals game against the Cleveland Indians. It was a great game since they won and broke a 12 game losing streak. Natalie had fun and actually made it through the entire game, with the help of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Mommy's iPod. I wanted to take pictures but I guess all the pictures from over the long weekend wore down my battery because I couldn't even get one shot before the dreaded "change battery pack" flashed on my screen. We hope to make it to the "K" at least a few more times this summer so will have to make sure the battery is charged up for those!

Memorial Day Weekend Vacation

Long time no post! Wanted to add a quick picture of Natalie from our weekend vacation. We went to Indiana for Natalie's Great Grandpa's 80th birthday. We took a short side trip to the Notre Dame campus on Sunday then we headed to Chicago so we could visit our friends Shaun, Kathy & Patrick. On Monday we came home through St. Louis so we could stop at the Arch and drive by the new Busch Stadium. It was a fun weekend!!! This was a picture taken in the museum at the Arch. Since Mommy had a short day of working at home due to the snowstorm on Wednesday, we decided to make some cupcakes! I helped put the pretty red and pink cupcake papers in the muffin tin. Then we mixed up the cupcake batter together and I even helped fill the cups. After they were baked, Mommy piped frosting on top of them and then I put on the sprinkles! We had pink, red and multi-colored ones! I had so much fun making them and eating them.

Natalie's New House!!

We were so lucky to find our new house when we went to Kansas City last weekend! It is in Gardner so will be a little longer commute for Ryan (30 minutes) but hopefully not much longer for me. We will be about 5-10 minutes from Jeff & Katie so that will be so nice! It is a traditional 2 story house with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Natalie has already scoped out the bedrooms and said she wants hers to be pink! Of course, there was no prodding from Mom for that! There are more pictures of the house on Flickr.com. We all can't wait to get moved in!!!!
