First Haircut

Last Saturday, Mommy took me to this cool place called KidSnips. She told me I was going to get my first haircut there. A really nice lady had me sit in a red jeep and she put on a Baby Einstein video for me to watch. Then she put a big blue sheet over me. After that she sprayed my hair to get it wet and then started trimming it up. I sat really still for her so she would do a good job. Mommy even took a few pictures of me while she was cutting. Afterwards, the lady took a picture of me and gave me a certificate to show that I had my first haircut. I also got a red balloon to take home. It was a lot of fun plus I have a new look!

Spaghetti!!

Here are a few pictures of Natalie's first experience with spaghetti last Sunday evening. I think she loved it even though a lot of it ended up on her bib and not in her mouth. It was right into the bathtub when she was done!!!

First Christmas

Natalie's first Christmas was a fun one! We headed to Nebraska to spend the special day with Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and other family.
On Christmas Eve, we all got dressed up and went to church. Afterwards we opened presnts. Natalie received many fun and special gifts including a Little People Sweet Sounds Home from Mommy and Daddy.
On Christmas Day, lots of family came to Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner. During dinner we had a special visitor - SANTA! Natalie sat on his lap and was very good but she had her eye on him too! The rest of the day was spent playing with toys and spending time with all our family. It was a great time!

First Birthday Party

Natalie had her First Birthday Party on December 23 at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Nebraska. She has many guests including: Mommy and Daddy, Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Rich, Aunt Susie, Uncle Jeff and Aunt Katie, Uncle John, Aunt Mya and cousin Ashley, Great Grandpa Harry and Great Grandma Phyllis, Great Aunt Karen, Great Uncle Ken and cousins Brian and Jason.

We all had BBQ beef sandwiches for lunch before Natalie opened her presents. She got some very pretty clothes, fun toys and even a puppy backpack with a strap so Mommy can keep a hold of her when she starts walking and running! After the presents, Natalie dug into her cake. She was only eating the frosting at first but once she got a taste of the cake, she loved that too! Everyone else got to eat cupcakes (which spelled out "Happy Birthday Natalie"!) and purple and pink M&Ms. What a great birthday!
